Through its Pharma & Green Solutions (PGS) team based in Milan, De Dietrich supports Italian manufacturers in defining and implementing their projects, from initial process studies through to plant execution. This local presence combines engineering capabilities, process expertise and in-depth knowledge of the equipment developed by the Group or integrated in cooperation with its partners.
With more than 340 years of experience in designing equipment and solutions for the process industries, De Dietrich applies its expertise to complex projects in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and plant-based sectors.
The PGS Italy team provides a local point of contact for manufacturers seeking to develop, optimize or industrialize a process. It draws on De Dietrich’s international network of experts to mobilize the required process, equipment, engineering and project management capabilities.

The services provided include process studies, the definition of technical solutions, engineering, equipment selection and integration, project monitoring and plant execution.

The Italian team operates across three main application areas:
- Pharmaceuticals: active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs);
- Chemicals: recycling, defence, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry;
- Plant-based solutions: extraction of natural raw materials, flavours and fragrances, edible oils, biofuels and cosmetic applications.
